McElmurry Ethics and Society Lectureship

Duane McBride commences the McElmurry Ethics and Society Lectureship at Garber Auditorium in Chan Shun Hall with his presentation, "American Society and Prison: A Solution to our Social Problems or a Failed Policy" at 7 pm on Thursday, Oct. 11.
Attendees will receive a light supper in the Chan Shun lobby at 5:30 pm on Friday before presentations by Dolby Knott and Skip MacCarty, as well as Edwin Vance and Broderick Morris. Melinda Ucci will be honored for her 20 years of service in prison ministry. The evening will close with keynote speaker John Thompson's presentation, "Christian Action in Prison."
Saturday's events begin at 10 am, with Wendell Jeffery and Andrew Pazera's presentation, "Practical Christian Ministries and work in Westville Correctional Facility." John Thompson speaks of "The Living Dead" at 11:30 am, and Rich and Carol Rienstra close the series with "Christians for Prisoners Make Contact with Prisoners for Christ: The Story of Troy Rienstra."
